Job summary

LINSUN ENGINEERING SDN BHD in Johor Bahru is seeking a Site Supervisor to oversee day-to-day scaffolding, falsework, and shoring activities on our projects. You will ensure work is carried out safely, per design specifications, and within project timelines, coordinating site teams and reporting to the project managers.

This full-time, on-site role requires strong leadership, practical problem solving, and excellent communication with contractors and clients.

Qualifications

• Experience supervising construction or engineering sites, preferably involving scaffolds, falsework, or shoring systems.
• Strong knowledge of site safety practices, risk assessment, and compliance with local regulations and industry standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, method statements, and work instructions related to scaffolding and structural support.
• Effective leadership and team coordination skills, including task allocation, performance monitoring, and conflict resolution.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills for interacting with site teams, contractors, and clients.
• Basic reporting and documentation skills for site records, progress updates, and incident reporting.
• Hands‑on problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail when inspecting structures and verifying work quality.
• Relevant certification or training in scaffolding, construction supervision, or occupational safety is an advantage.
• Prior experience working on large‑scale construction or infrastructure projects in Johor Baharu or similar environments is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate site teams and assign tasks to ensure on-time progress.
• Monitor daily progress and enforce safety standards across scaffolding, falsework and shoring.
• Conduct regular site inspections to maintain quality and regulatory compliance.
• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and clients; prepare basic reports and updates.
• Resolve operational issues that arise during installation, inspection, or dismantling works.
• Maintain site documentation and support continuous improvement of processes.
