Job summary

Binastra Group is seeking a capable Civil Engineering professional to plan and coordinate daily site operations on our projects in Johor Bahru. The role requires supervising construction and installation works and ensuring compliance with contract specifications and quality standards.

You will monitor subcontractors' daily activities, manage materials and equipment, and ensure inspections and testing are completed. Strong English and Bahasa Malaysia are essential.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering / Construction / Building Survey / Land Surveying.
• 3-5 years' experience in relevant fields, architectural & structural works encouraged.
• Required language(s): English, Bahasa Malaysia.
• Able to meet tight timelines and work with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate daily site operations.
• Supervise and monitor all construction/installation works.
• Control subcontractors' daily work activities and ensure manpower, materials, equipment and tools are available.
• Monitor subcontractors' work progress against the approved work schedule.
• Ensure all works comply with contract specifications, drawings, PQP requirements and approved method statements.
• Ensure all required inspections and testing are carried out and passed before proceeding to next stages.
• Maintain a site diary to record daily site activities.
• Report any non-conformances (NCR / NCP) promptly to the Project/Construction Manager.
• Manage and control the usage of materials, plants and machinery.
• Inspect and test materials per approved samples and ensure rejected materials are removed from site.
• Ensure correct implementation according to technical specifications, designs and material quality.
