Job summary

ATASAN RESTU TECHNOLOGY SDN BHD is seeking a site supervisor to oversee building construction activities in Kedah. You will supervise daily progress, coordinate workers and subcontractors, ensure compliance with JKR specifications, and prepare for inspections.

Applicants should be physically fit, hold a valid driving license, and be willing to travel between sites. Experience with JKR/government projects is preferred, along with knowledge of safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in building construction, preferably on JKR/government projects.
• Ability to read construction drawings and JKR specifications.
• Physically fit and willing to work on-site.
• Hold a valid driving license and own a vehicle; capable of travelling between sites.
• Responsible, disciplined, and able to work independently.
• Familiar with JKR documentation and inspection procedures (advantage).

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily work progress at the building construction site.
• Coordinate and oversee workers and subcontractors to follow the approved schedule.
• Ensure all work complies with JKR specifications, drawings, and quality standards.
• Assist in preparing for JKR inspections and ensure readiness for SO approval.
• Monitor and enforce site safety rules and procedures (OSHA / CIDB / SHASSIC compliance).
• Check and verify materials delivered to site against approved specifications.
• Prepare and submit daily site reports, progress records, labour returns, and inspection requests (RFI).
• Liaise with the project manager, consultants, JKR officers, and SO representatives on site matters.
• Identify and report any defects, delays, non-compliance, or site problems promptly.
• Ensure proper housekeeping, tidiness, and safe working conditions on-site.

About you

Possess a valid driving license and own a car or motorcycle (must be willing to travel between sites)

Physically fit and willing to work on-site
