Job summary

GFZ International (M) Sdn. Bhd. seeks a Site Safety Supervisor to ensure OSH/DOSH compliance on facade projects in Malaysia.

You will oversee site operations, manage teams and subcontractors, enforce safety rules, and maintain quality and records across sites. The role requires a Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field with Yellow Book (SHO) and CIDB, plus 3 years in site supervision, preferably in façades. Malay and English are essential; Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Occupational Safety & Health, or related field.
• Yellow Book certification (SHO registration with DOSH)
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety practices
• CIDB Card
• First Aid or Emergency Response certification is an advantage
• 3 years of site supervision experience, facade industry preferred

Your Responsibilities

Ensure full compliance with OSH standards, DOSH/JKKP regulations, ISO guidelines, and company HSE policies.

Oversee site operations and ensure high-quality installations.

What You Need

Education

Diploma or Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction, Occupational Safety & Health, or a related field.

Must possess a valid Yellow Book certification (SHO registration with DOSH)

Knowledge of OSHA regulations and construction site safety practices

CIDB Card

First Aid or Emergency Response certification is an advantage

Experience

Minimum 3 years of experience in site supervision.

Experience in the façade industry is preferred.

Skills

Ability to read blueprints.

Strong team management skills.

Good problem-solving abilities.

Certifications

Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations is an advantage.

Languages

Proficiency in Bahasa Malaysia and English.

Mandarin is an added advantage.

Mobility

Willingness to travel to project sites.
