ONCOD Malaysia is seeking an OSH Safety Coordinator / Safety and Health Officer who will be based at the yard office and visit project sites as required. The role oversees all safety matters for yard, cranes, and daily operations to ensure compliance with JKKP requirements.

Responsibilities include coordinating crane mobilisation, conducting site inspections and training, managing HIRARC, and reporting incidents to DOLE with corrective actions, while aligning with client safety teams.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or General Education Degree.
• Must hold a valid Yellow Book Certificate.
• SHO registration with DOSH (JKKP).
• Minimum two years of related experience.
• Crane lifting experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Take care of safety matters at office, yard and workshop.
• Make sure all safety requirements comply with JKKP/DOSH.
• Ensure compliance with occupational safety and health regulations, including the Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) (Amendment) Act 2022.
• Monitor crane PMA, inspection, operator competency and safety documents.
• Coordinate safety matters for crane mobilisation, demobilisation and lifting activities at site.
• Conduct site safety inspections, risk assessments, lead safety training, toolbox meetings and employee awareness programs.
• Handle HIRARC, report incidents including submit report, disabling injuries, or dangerous occurrence to the DOLE office and corrective actions.
• Coordinate with client safety teams for site requirements.

Key responsibilities
