Job summary

MZEC Development Sdn Bhd is seeking a Site Safety Supervisor to oversee safety on a construction site and ensure compliance with OSHA, DOSH and CIDB standards. The role involves inspections, training, incident investigations and liaison with authorities.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in safety supervision, a valid Yellow Book, and the ability to coordinate with project teams and regulatory bodies on safety matters.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience as a Site Safety Supervisor or similar role in construction.
• Registered as Site Safety Supervisor (SSS) with Department Of Occupational Safety & Health, with valid Yellow Book.
• Strong knowledge of occupational health and safety regulations, including OSHA, DOSH, CIDB and other relevant standards.
• Able to commute and work at Lestarry Heights Sales Gallery.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify and mitigate safety hazards.
• Implement safety policies, procedures and best practices to create a safe working environment.
• Provide safety training and coaching to workers to promote a culture of safety awareness.
• Investigate incidents and accidents, and implement corrective actions to prevent recurrence.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation related to safety and environmental management.
• Collaborate with project managers, contractors and other stakeholders to address safety-related concerns.
• Liaise and handle all communication and documentation with authorities (JTK, JKKP/DOSH, MOH) and related agencies.
