Job summary

LanTro (M) Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Safety & Health Supervisor to uphold daily site safety, perform inspections and ensure compliance.

You will lead toolbox talks, investigate incidents, manage PPE and safety records, and liaise with managers and authorities.

The role requires a OSH certificate/diploma, Yellow Book, and at least 3 years on construction sites; strong leadership and communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Certificate / Diploma in Occupational Safety & Health or related field.
• Must possess valid Yellow Book.
• Prefer 3 years of experience in construction site safety supervision.
• Good knowledge of OSHA 1994 and related Malaysian safety regulations.
• Strong understanding of construction site hazards and risk control measures.
• Ability to conduct safety briefing, inspection, and incident reporting.
• Good communication and leadership skills.
• Able to work on-site in a fast-paced construction environment.
• Physically fit and willing to work extended hours if required.
• Strong attention to detail and disciplined in compliance enforcement.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily site safety inspections and identify potential hazards.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA requirements and DOSH regulations.
• Monitor site activities to ensure safe work practices are followed at all times.
• Conduct toolbox meetings and safety briefings for site workers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly safety reports to management.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses; provide corrective action recommendations.
• Ensure all workers are equipped with and properly using PPE.
• Maintain safety records, permits, and documentation required for audits and inspections.
• Assist in emergency response planning and drills.
• Liaise with project managers, site engineers, and authorities on safety matters.
• Support safety training and awareness programs on site.
