Job summary

Jora Malaysia in Malaysia is seeking a Quantity Surveyor to support tendering, cost estimation and contract administration, with emphasis on steel structures and the ability to work independently or in a team.

You will prepare tender documents, monitor costs, and handle progress claims and final accounts, coordinating with purchasing and subcontractors to deliver accurate cost reports.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• Experience in steel structure is an advantage.
• Knowledge of tendering, cost estimation and contract administration.
• Familiar with progress claims, VO and final accounts.
• Good communication
• Able to work independently and in a team.
• Self-motivated and responsible.

Responsibilities

• Prepare tender documents, quantity measurement and cost estimation.
• Handle progress claims, Variation Orders (VO) and final accounts.
• Manage contract administration and contractual claims.
• Monitor project costs and cost control.
• Coordinate with Purchasing, subcontractors and project teams.
• Prepare quotations, cost comparisons and related reports.
