Job summary

Letrik Port Klang (M) Sdn Bhd is looking for an Electrical Engineer to support the project team during construction, ensuring work aligns with Construction Drawings, Specifications, Plans and Work Instructions on site.

You will liaise with site personnel, monitor subcontractors, and coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers and authorities while preparing progress reports and project documents. Willingness to travel to outstation sites is required.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Electrical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of construction project experience.
• Familiar with industrial building mechanical & electrical systems.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Word and Excel.
• Willing to work outstation for project duration.

Responsibilities

• Ensure construction works follow drawings, specifications, procedures and work instructions.
• Liaise with site personnel on current on-site activities; cooperate with other departments, consultants and client.
• Monitor subcontractors' progress at site.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, engineers, architects and authorities.
• Assist in documents, reports and material take-offs; ensure timely submittals and progress reports.

Job description

To assist and support the project team during project period. To ensure all construction works are carried out as per Construction Drawing, Specifications, Construction Plan Procedures, Work Instructions and etc. Responsible for the arrangement of site works and related activities.

Key responsibilities

To ensure all construction works are carried out as per Construction Drawing, Specifications, Construction Plan Procedures, Work Instructions and etc.

Liaise with site personnel on the current on-site activities including inspections and site visits, cooperating with other departments, consultants and the client

Monitor sub-contractor's progress work at site

Conduct coordination and liaison with consultants, contractors, engineers, architects and authorities

Assist in all documents, reports and materials take-off

Ensure timely submittal and accuracy of progress reports

About you

Degree holder in Electrical Engineering or other relevant Engineering fields

Minimum 2 - 3 years of experience in construction projects or any related industry

Familiar with industrial building Mechanical & Electrical systems

Possess skills in Project Management, AutoCAD/Microsoft Project/Word/Excel

Willing to work outstation for the duration of projects

Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
