Job summary

DD Group of Companies in Sarawak seeks a diligent Civil Site Supervisor to oversee daily construction activities, ensuring works meet approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and the project schedule. Based at Samarahan, you will coordinate with consultants, contractors and suppliers to keep site execution smooth.

You will monitor progress and quality, conduct regular inspections, interpret drawings, resolve site issues, and maintain daily reports and documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Building Technology or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in construction/site supervision.
• Good knowledge of construction methods, engineering drawings, site supervision and project coordination.
• Able to monitor site progress and resolve day‑to‑day site issues effectively.
• Hardworking, responsible, reliable and a good listener.
• Good communication, coordination and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willing to be based at project sites in Samarahan, Sarawak.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications; knowledge of AutoCAD is an added advantage.
• Possess a valid driving licence; own transport is an added advantage

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities to ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedule.
• Coordinate with consultants, contractors, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth site execution.
• Monitor site progress, work quality, and report updates to the Project Manager.
• Conduct regular site inspections and ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, quality and safety requirements.
• Review and interpret construction drawings and provide technical support for site‑related matters.
• Identify and assist in resolving technical, construction and site coordination issues.
• Prepare and maintain daily site reports, inspection records, progress updates and other project documentation.
• Attend site meetings and coordinate with relevant parties to ensure timely completion of works.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations and statutory requirements.
• Perform other site‑related duties as assigned by Management.
