Job summary

Accord Construction Sdn Bhd seeks a site/project engineer to assist the Construction/Project Manager in planning, monitoring and controlling daily works at project sites, ensuring adherence to quality, safety and drawing specifications.

The role requires a degreed engineer, minimum 2 years' experience, strong interpersonal and communication skills, willingness to travel outstation, and proficiency in construction/design software. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

Degree in Building or Civil Engineering.
Min. 2 years' experience as a site/project engineer in the related field.
Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with innovative thinking.
Able to work under pressure and accommodate extra hours.
Willing to travel outstation (preferably with own transport).
Computer literate and proficient in relevant construction/design software.
Fresh Graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

To assist the Construction/Project Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites.
To implement all policies, activities, procedures, instructions as relevant and required by the quality management system.
To ensure that project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.
To plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor's activities at project sites.
To maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.
To ensure that all works carried out are in accordance to the drawings, specifications, construction plan, procedures, work instructions, etc.
To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.
To submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.
To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
