Job summary

Accord Construction Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a site/project engineer with a minimum of 2 years of experience in construction. The role requires strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a willingness to travel as needed.

Fresh graduates are welcome to apply. You will assist the Construction/Project Manager to plan, monitor, and control daily project activities, ensure quality and safety policies are followed, and coordinate subcontractors at site

Qualifications

• Degree in Building or Civil Engineering is required.
• Min. 2 years' experience as a site/project engineer in the related field.
• Possess good interpersonal and communication skills with innovative thinking.
• Able to work under pressure and with extra hours.
• Willing to travel outstation (preferably with own transport).
• Fresh Graduates are also encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Construction/Project Manager to plan, monitor and control daily works at the project sites.
• Implement all policies, procedures and instructions as required by the quality management system.
• Ensure project operations and document control procedures are adhered to.
• Plan, coordinate and monitor subcontractor's activities at project sites.
• Maintain good housekeeping and implement safety practices.
• Ensure works comply with drawings, specifications, and construction plans.
• Submit samples and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.
• Undertake any other duties as instructed by superiors.

• To ensure that inspection and tests are carried out as per Inspection and Test Plans and that all quality control mechanisms are being used. Results of such to conform to specifications.

• To submit sample materials and calibration certificates to relevant consultants for approval.

• To undertake any and all other duties and responsibilities as so instructed by the superior.
