Job summary

QRA SDN. BHD. is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support daily kitchen operations in a show kitchen environment in Malaysia. You will assist in opening and closing procedures, help with ingredient ordering, ensure mise en place, and maintain dish standards.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, 0-5 years of experience, good health and safety knowledge, ability to work six days a week, and teamwork. Fluency in English and Malay is preferred; fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Execute opening and closing procedures to ensure kitchen is ready for service.
• Assist the chef lead in daily ingredient ordering and ensure received ingredients meet standards and quantities.
• Ensure mise en place is completed for smooth service.
• Maintain consistent food preparation and dish standards to uphold reputation.
• Ensure hygiene and maintenance of kitchen and equipment in a show kitchen environment.
• Stay updated on food trends and share with colleagues and customers to engage them.
• Participate in menu ideation for seasonal promotions.
