Job summary

Jora Malaysia is hiring a Logistics Transport Coordinator to develop and optimize transportation routes and schedules for cost-efficient deliveries. You will use TMS and other software to plan, track, and manage shipments, ensuring timely and accurate operations.

You will collaborate with internal teams and external partners, monitor performance metrics, ensure regulatory compliance, and prepare reports for management. Fluency in Mandarin is preferred to liaise with partners as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum diploma or equivalent; relevant logistics qualifications preferred.
• Mandarin language skills are preferred to liaise with partners.
• Experience in routing, scheduling and cost-efficient delivery planning.

Responsibilities

• Analyze transportation data to identify trends and improvements.
• Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve delivery issues and ensure satisfaction.

• Assist in budgeting and cost analysis for transportation.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all transportation activities and documentation.

Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the logistics and transportation department.

• Collaborate with customer and purchaser to coordinate logistics, resolve delivery issues, and ensure customer satisfaction.
• Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software to plan, track, and manage shipments, ensuring accurate data entry and reporting.
• Monitor and ensure compliance with all relevant transportation regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
• Assist in the preparation of transportation budgets and cost analyses, providing insights to support decision-making.
• Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and other stakeholders to provide clear instructions, updates, and support throughout the transportation
• Preparing accurate billing statements based on delivery receipts, rate cards, and contracts.
• Cross-checking proof of delivery (POD) documents against customer orders.
• Correcting billing discrepancies and handling customer inquiries regarding charges.
