Job summary

Intermarine UK Limited is seeking a Project Engineer to support the Project Support department in planning, coordinating, and executing shipbuilding projects. The role ensures progress according to schedule, budget, and quality, acting as a liaison between internal teams, suppliers, and stakeholders.

The candidate will coordinate activities across engineering, production, procurement and QA/QC, monitor milestones, and prepare progress reports and technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine, Naval Architecture or related engineering.
• 2–5 years of project coordination or engineering experience in shipbuilding, marine, offshore or heavy engineering.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documents.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of MS Project is an advantage.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced project environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities across engineering, production, procurement and QA/QC teams.
• Monitor project schedules, milestones and deliverables.
• Prepare project reports, progress updates and technical documentation.
• Assist in resolving engineering and production issues.
• Support material tracking, procurement follow-up and subcontractor coordination.
• Participate in project meetings and maintain action lists.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, safety and quality standards.
