Job summary

Jones Lang LaSalle Incorporated is seeking a LV Chargeman to maintain Low Voltage and emergency power systems on-site in Kulim, Malaysia. The role requires a relevant Chargeman certification and a minimum of two years’ experience, with the ability to work independently and on 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities include regular facilities inspections, CMMS maintenance planning support, permit-to-work coordination, and on-site reporting.

Qualifications

• Certified A0/A1/A4 Chargeman with Suruhanjaya Tenaga (ST).
• Over 2 years of experience as a LV Chargeman/facility technician.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Preference for candidates able to work 12-hour shifts.

Responsibilities

• Conduct weekly facilities inspections and document findings.
• Withdraw and execute job requests from OVSC with client approval.
• Assist in planning maintenance in CMMS and supervise permit-to-work.
• Prepare facility job reports after each visit and manage pantry appliance repairs.
• Provide 24-hour on-call standby for electrical, HVAC, fire protection and water systems.

Whether you’ve got deep experience in commercial real estate, skilled trades or technology, or you’re looking to apply your relevant experience to a new industry, join our team as we help shape a brighter way forward.**Job Description Summary**To ensure KM Low Voltage (LV), Emergency Power system including Generators, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and downstream distribution system reliability in compliance with the applicable laws, including OSHA/EIA Act, DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Jabatan Bomba and other regulatory governing bodies, including conformance to Standard Operating Procedures, specifications, safety and system requirements.**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**To ensure Low Voltage (LV), Emergency Power system including Generators, Uninterrupted Power Supply (UPS) and downstream distribution system reliability in compliance with the applicable laws, including OSHA/EIA Act, DOSH, Suruhanjaya Tenaga, Jabatan Bomba and other regulatory governing bodies, including conformance to Standard Operating Procedures, specifications, safety and system requirements.* + Perform weekly facilities inspection. + To withdraw job request from OVSC (job request system) and execute with approval by client or the authorized person assigned by client. + To assist FC/client representative to perform preparation for the planned maintenance in CMMS system. (Get ready permit-to-work, assist in supervision for the planned maintenance, ensure safety and health during carry job, escalation if needed) + Prepare facilities job report for every visit in log book or in softcopy if provided. + This include repair maintenance for pantry appliances (oven, fridge, related appliance) + Overall assist to FC and client representative which is not far from the job scope.* + **24 hours on call standby** which regarding critical equipment on below system: + Power system interruption. (UPS, generator, switchboard, lighting trip anything related to electrical system) + Cooling system abnormal. (Crac unit, air conditional system any related to HVAC system) + Fire protection system abnormal. (FM200, CO2 system, Smoke and heat detection, fire extinguisher, VESDA and anything related to fire monitoring and protection system) + Water leaks detection system abnormal. + Any alarm or tripping from above mention + Electrical energization & deenergization including electrical T&C. + QAQC involvement for electrical system.**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS & KEY COMPETENCIES*** + Certified A0/A1/A4 Chargeman with Suruhanjaya Tenaga + More than 2 years experience working as facility technician (LV Chargeman) + Able to work independently and with minimum supervision + Ability to work on 12 hours shifts is preferred**Location:**On-site –Kulim, Malaysia
