Job summary

Knight Frank Malaysia is seeking a Chargeman BO to join our JB facilities team. The role covers operation, maintenance and troubleshooting of HT/LV electrical systems across properties, ensuring uptime and safety compliance.

The ideal candidate holds a valid Chargeman BO Certificate and has at least 3 years' experience in property, facilities or building maintenance, with ability to supervise contractors during shutdowns and emergencies.

Qualifications

• Valid Chargeman BO Certificate required.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in property, facility or building maintenance.
• Good knowledge of HT/LV electrical systems and safety procedures.
• Hands-on, responsible and able to work on standby or during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, and troubleshoot high- and low-voltage electrical systems, including switchboards, transformers, and generators.
• Ensure compliance with Energy Commission regulations and safety standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, inspections, and documentation of electrical systems.
• Supervise contractors and vendors during electrical works and shutdowns.
• Monitor energy usage and recommend efficiency improvements.
• Support the building management team in ensuring safe and uninterrupted operations.
