Hume Cement Sdn Bhd, located in Gopeng, Malaysia, seeks a shift supervisor with a chemical or mechanical engineering background to oversee safety, quality, and pyro-processing activities in a cement plant.

The successful candidate will have 2–3 years of supervisory experience in cement manufacturing, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety, 5S, and continuous improvement. Fresh graduates may apply for entry-level supervision in a dynamic, on-site setting.

Make Safety, Health and Environment (SHE) a high priority.

Check for safety and cleanness in the workplace. Follow 5S principles.

To ensure production daily KPI is achieve.

To ensure all patrolling checklist is adhere by the patrollers on shift.

To provide support to maintenance department on shift.

To seek advice from Head of Production on challenges happened on night shift.

To involve on all 5S activities.

To carry out any other duties as directed by the Company Management.

Education and Experience

Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Open to Fresh Graduate.

Have 2 to 3 years of working experience in a supervisory role within the cement manufacturing industry, with a focus on pyro-processing.

In-depth knowledge of kiln operations, pyro-processing, and quality control in the cement industry.

Familiarity with safety regulations and compliance in an industrial setting.

Analytical mindset with problem-solving skills.

Effective communication and interpersonal abilities.

Willingness to work in a shift-based environment.

Commitment to fostering a culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
