Job summary

Newaction Marketing Sdn Bhd seeks an Admin cum Safety Officer to coordinate SHE matters and support general administration. The role ensures compliance with OSH, environmental, fire safety and regulatory requirements, and drives safety programs, inspections and corrective actions across the factory.

You will also assist with permits, licences, vehicle administration and foreign worker accommodation matters, contributing to a safe and compliant workplace.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Occupational Safety & Health, Environmental Management, Business Administration or a related field.
• Relevant experience in Safety, General Affairs, Administration or Manufacturing will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of Malaysian workplace safety and environmental requirements, particularly JKKP/DOSH, DOE and BOMBA requirements.
• Familiar with workplace safety inspections, risk assessments, accident investigation and Scheduled Waste management.
• Experience in eSWIS and Scheduled Waste documentation will be an advantage.
• Good administrative, documentation and record-keeping skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and coordinate effectively with different departments.
• Proactive, responsible and able to identify and follow up on safety and compliance issues.
• Willing to work in a manufacturing/factory environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee workplace safety, health and environmental (SHE) matters and administrative affairs.
• Develop, review and propose SHE policies, procedures and programs to Management.
• Ensure compliance with JKKP/DOSH, DOE, BOMBA and other regulatory requirements.
• Conduct risk assessments and follow up on corrective actions.
• Lead monthly SHE inspections, 5S audits and safety committee meetings.
• Manage scheduled waste records and disposal with contractors.
• Investigate accidents and implement CAPA.
• Maintain company permits, licences and vehicle administration.
• Provide general administrative support.
