Job summary

SA Team Engineering in Kulai, Malaysia, is seeking a Safety & Health Officer Assistant to support the implementation of the safety and health management system and ensure compliance with Malaysian OSH regulations. You will assist with inspections, risk assessments, incident investigations, training, PPE monitoring, and maintain safety records.

Fresh graduates are welcome; 1–2 years' experience is an advantage.

Qualifications

Diploma or Bachelor's degree in OSH or related field.
Fresh graduates welcome; 1–2 years' experience advantageous.
Basic knowledge of Malaysian OSH regulations.
Familiar with ISO 45001 and ISO 14001 is a plus.
Proficient in MS Office; good communication and organizational skills.
Willing to learn and be a team player.

Responsibilities

Assist in implementing and maintaining the safety and health management system.
Support daily safety operations and ensure compliance with company policies and Malaysian OSH regulations.
Assist in conducting workplace inspections, safety audits, and risk assessments.
Help investigate workplace accidents, incidents, and near misses, and prepare reports.
Assist in organizing safety training, inductions, toolbox meetings, and drills.
Monitor proper use of PPE and promote safe work practices.
Maintain safety records, inspection reports, training records, permits, and other documentation.
Coordinate with government authorities, customers, contractors, and external auditors on safety matters.
Support ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and other safety management activities.
Perform general administrative duties for the Safety & Health Department.
