Job summary

Kumnara Holding Sdn Bhd in Gua Musang, Kelantan, is seeking a dedicated Safety, Health & Environment Officer to oversee health, safety and environmental compliance across operations. Qualifications

• Relevant qualification or certification in occupational health and safety, such as DOSH certification, NEBOSH, or equivalent professional qualification.
• Experience in health, safety and environment roles, preferably in mining, resources or energy sectors.
• Solid understanding of Malaysian occupational safety, health legislation and environmental regulations.
• Experience conducting risk assessments, hazard identification and incident investigations.
• Ability to implement safety management systems and robust control measures.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain health, safety and environmental policies, procedures and work instructions.
• Conduct safety inspections, audits and risk assessments across sites and recommend corrective actions.
• Investigate accidents, incidents and near-misses; document findings and implement preventive measures.
• Deliver health and safety training programmes for staff at all levels.
• Monitor and report on safety, health and environmental performance indicators and metrics.
• Liaise with regulatory authorities to ensure compliance with legislation and standards.
• Manage environmental monitoring, waste management and pollution control initiatives.
• Maintain records and documentation related to SH&E matters.
• Conduct toolbox talks and promote a strong safety culture.
