Job summary

Expogaya Sdn Bhd in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah, is seeking a Health, Safety and Environment Officer to implement and monitor company SHE policies and programs. You will conduct inspections, risk assessments, and audits to ensure compliance with occupational safety and environmental legislation.

The role involves preparing SHE reports, training staff, managing PPE usage, and coordinating with contractors to uphold safety standards across projects. ISO 9001:2015 experience is advantageous.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Occupational Safety (preferred).
• Experience in health, safety and environment roles.

Responsibilities

• Implement and monitor SHE policies, procedures and programs.
• Conduct safety and environmental inspections and audits.
• Identify workplace hazards and perform risk assessments with appropriate controls.
• Prepare and maintain SHE reports, inspection records and incident reports.
• Coordinate with contractors to ensure SHE compliance across projects.
• Assist in emergency preparedness including drills and procedures.
