Job summary

Nippon Paint is seeking a CCM Service Technician to deliver technical support for the Colour Creation Machine, including installation, configuration and scheduled maintenance at dealer shops. You will train dealers to operate the machine effectively and ensure optimal usage.

Strong problem‑solving skills are required to troubleshoot hardware or software issues, attend repair requests, and liaise with relevant departments to ensure smooth service delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering from a recognised university.
• Minimum 1 year working experience in machinery or electronic services, and troubleshooting.
• Able to communicate in English and local dialects will be an added advantage.
• Able to work independently.
• Basic knowledge on computer software systems.
• Possess own transport and willing to travel.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical support in machinery installation, system configuration and scheduled maintenance at dealer shops.

Job description

In Nippon Paint, we have introduced the Colour Creation Machine (CCM) to allow effective creation and matching of colour shades according to customer needs. The machine offers shorter waiting time to obtain desired colour and reduce storage space while providing the widest range of colours.

As a CCM Service Technician, you will be responsible for technical support in machinery installation, system configuration and carry out scheduled maintenance services at the dealer shops. You will also provide training and advice dealers in operating the machines to ensure optimum usage.

Strong problem-solving skills are required as you will be responsible for troubleshooting hardware or software problems of the machine. Your responsibility will require you to attend to the repairing request and communicate with the relevant departments.

Requirements:

Background:

SPM / Diploma in Mechanical or Electronic Engineering from recognised universities.

Experience:

Minimum 1 year working experience in machinery or electronic services, and troubleshooting.

Knowledge & Skill:

Able to communicate in English and local dialects will be an added advantage.

Able to work independently.

Basic knowledge on computer software systems.

Possess own transport and willing to travel.
