Job summary

Floormac (M) Sdn Bhd is seeking an entry-level Industrial Machinery Mechanic who can perform repairs and preventive maintenance on floor cleaning equipment. The role requires hands-on skill, attention to detail, and a proactive, independent work style.

The successful candidate will interact with service teams and customers, possess good communication, and show a positive attitude. Training and on-the-job coaching are provided to develop technical expertise in vacuum and floor cleaning machinery.

• Fresh graduate and SPM leavers are encouraged to apply.

Responsibilities

• Industrial machinery mechanics and repairers install, examine, service and repair industrial machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Fitting, installing, examining, servicing and repairing engines, machinery and mechanical equipment.
• Inspecting and testing new machinery and mechanical equipment for conformity with standards and specifications.
• Disassembling machinery and equipment to remove parts and make repairs.
• Examining parts for defects such as breakage and excessive wear.
• Operating newly repaired machinery and equipment to verify the adequacy of repairs.
• Recording repairs and maintenance performed.
• Equipment calibration and technical problem solving.
• Troubleshooting & preventative maintenance for industrial machinery/floor cleaning machinery
