Job summary

Pentamex Engineering Sdn. Bhdn, based in Bayan Lepas, Penang, is seeking a skilled technician to perform maintenance on fire protection systems and support installation projects.

You will inspect, service and test fire safety equipment, coordinate with building management and clients, and document service reports in the company system. This role requires hands-on experience with extinguishers, hydrants, sprinklers, alarms, and pumps, and offers opportunities to contribute to reliable life-safety

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and servicing on fire protection systems (extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants).
• Inspect systems for potential issues and non-compliance; carry out repairs or replacements.
• Assist with installation, testing, commissioning and modification of fire protection equipment and related wiring.
• Review work orders and complete service reports; ensure accurate job tracking.
• Coordinate with clients, building management and internal teams to support servicing and installations.

• Perform preventive maintenance and servicing on fire protection systems, including fire extinguishers, hose reels, hydrants, sprinkler systems, fire alarm systems and fire pumps.
• Conduct routine inspections, identify potential issues or non-compliance and carry out necessary repairs or replacement of faulty components.
• Assist with the installation, testing, commissioning and modification of fire protection equipment and related piping or wiring works.
• Review assigned work orders, complete service reports and ensure accurate job tracking through company systems.
• Coordinate with clients, building management and internal teams to support smooth servicing and installation activities.
