Job summary

Sodick Technology (M) Sdn Bhd (Penang) seeks a proactive Service Engineer to visit customer sites, diagnose and repair EDM, wire-cut EDM, and CNC machines. You will install, service, and train customers on proper operation and maintenance, and keep accurate service records.

Respond promptly to technical inquiries, suggest improvements, and collaborate with teams to enhance machine performance. Travel to sites and a valid driving licence are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma in related field required.
• 2–3 years hands-on EDM/CNC experience.
• Willing to travel to customer sites.
• Valid driving licence required.

Requirements

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
• At least 2–3 years of hands‑on experience with EDM, wire‑cut EDM, or CNC machines.
• Experience with Injection Moulding Machines (IMM) is an advantage.
• Strong troubleshooting skills in the electrical, mechanical, and software systems of industrial machines.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
• Willing to travel to customer sites when required.
• Must possess a valid driving licence and own transport.
