Jda Wms is seeking a Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain critical power systems, including UPS, PDUs and busway at customer sites in Selangor, Malaysia. You will ensure equipment performs reliably and faults are resolved quickly.

Responsibilities include installing, testing, commissioning, preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, preparing service reports, and advising customers on operation and care. Travel to customer locations is required.

Qualificações

• Diploma or degree in electrical or power engineering.
• Experience in installation, commissioning or maintenance of UPS/PDUs/busway.
• Knowledge of power electronics, batteries, and low-voltage systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and use test equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and customer-focused mindset.
• Willingness to travel for site work.

We are looking for a Service Engineer to install, commission and maintain critical power systems, including UPS systems, PDUs and busway, at customer sites. You will help keep customers’ facilities running reliably by making sure equipment performs as it should and that faults are resolved quickly.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, test and commission UPS systems, PDUs, busway and associated electrical systems at customer sites.
• Conduct preventive maintenance according to schedules and manufacturer guidelines.
• Troubleshoot and repair system faults to minimise downtime and maintain performance.
• Respond to service calls and emergency breakdowns, including outside normal hours when required.
• Carry out inspections and functional tests, and recommend upgrades or corrective actions.
• Prepare service reports, test records and maintenance documentation.
• Advise customers on proper operation and care of their equipment.
• Coordinate with project, sales and technical support teams on site requirements and spare parts.
• Follow all electrical safety procedures and company quality standards.

Requirements

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical or Power Engineering.
• years of experience in installation, commissioning or maintenance of UPS, PDUs, busway or related electrical systems.
• Good understanding of power electronics, batteries, switchgear and low-voltage electrical systems.
• Ability to read electrical drawings and use test equipment such as multimeters and power analysers.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
• Willing to travel and perform fieldwork at customer locations.
