Job summary

Red Hat Malaysia SDN. BHD. is seeking a Senior Services Manager to develop, cultivate, and manage relationships with Enterprise and Commercial accounts in Malaysia.

You will oversee delivery of projects from kickoff to closeout, define scope, monitor progress, and ensure alignment with contractual agreements. You will identify new business opportunities, work with the sales organization to promote revenue growth, and guide consulting opportunities from qualification to closing while coordinating

Responsibilities

• Cover a territory consisting of large Enterprise and Commercial companies (VN / TH / MY).
• Work closely with the services sellers to deliver Red Hat's services and solutions using the business requirements of your customers to deliver required outcomes.
• Grow your territory through internal partnerships with the field sales team and alliance and partner programs.
• Design and implement effective, high-impact technical and business solutions focusing on Red Hat technologies (OpenShift, Ansible AAP, OpenShift AI, RHEL, and others).
• Provide revenue and booking forecasts for your territory.
• Manage revenue and booking goals across all practices; meet margin and use targets.
• Ensure successful delivery of all projects.
• Coordinate customer managers who manage consultants; foster collaboration.
• Grow revenue base, manage escalations, negotiate master services agreements and statements of work with customers and legal.

About The Job:

The Red Hat Consulting Services team is adding a Senior Services Manager in Malaysia. In this role, you will develop, cultivate, and manage relationships within key Enterprise and Commercial customer accounts. You will oversee the successful delivery of projects under your management from kickoff to closeout, including determining scope details and monitoring project progress to ensure that it conforms to customer expectations and contractual agreements. You’ll also help identify and qualify new business opportunities and work with Red Hat’s sales organization to formulate account strategies that promote revenue growth. You’ll partner with Red Hat’s sales representatives to guide consulting sales opportunities from qualification to closing while managing all assigned projects and resources while meeting revenue and booking goals. You’ll need to have a good foundation of technical knowledge, as well as project and scope management expertise, as you'll establish the technical and non-technical enablement needs for the Consulting team.

What You Will Do:

• Coordinate customer managers who manage consultants, fostering a culture of collaboration within your team
• Taking accountability for service delivery performance, meeting customer expectations, and driving future demand
• Providing accurate and regular reports to the management on performance of the service delivery
• Leading personnel management, including staff recruitment, performance assessment, training, and mentoring
• Building strong relationships with teams and stakeholders to enable effective dialogue exchange between departments
• Within 12 months, you will be expected to do the following: Grow your revenue base on a quarterly basis, Manage escalations without supervision, Assist with negotiating Red Hat’s master services agreements and statements of work with the customers and the legal team
