Job summary

Red Hat Consulting Malaysia is seeking a Consultant to drive middleware design and application projects for ASEAN customers. You will lead architecture reviews, design integration patterns, and guide teams through PoCs, workshops, and customer engagements across government, enterprise, and service providers.

The role emphasizes open-source practices and cloud-native solutions. You will collaborate with architects and delivery teams to translate business goals into scalable middleware

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience with Red Hat middleware products.
• Hands-on experience with Kubernetes/OpenShift for middleware workloads.
• Experience designing and implementing middleware architectures and integration patterns.
• Familiarity with DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and observability practices.
• Knowledge of banking/telecom/public sector/manufacturing domains is a plus.

In this role, you will promote the adoption of Red Hat's solutions at our key enterprise accounts, government agencies, and service provider partners. You'll define requirements and deliver solutions based on the Red Hat portfolio of solutions and services offerings. You will lead small to medium-sized project teams and ensure the quality of customer deliverables for one or more projects. You will apply well-developed consulting, business, and process expertise in your work and coach and mentor others while building good customer relationships. You will earn the trust and confidence of our customer Project, Development, and Operations teams by matching their requirements and use cases with the functional capabilities of our solutions. As a Consultant – Application, you will be guiding enterprise customers in designing, implementing, and optimising solutions using Red Hat’s Application portfolio.
