Job summary

Cone It Sdn Bhd in Penang is hiring a shop team member to assist in preparing ingredients, making gelato, and delivering friendly service to customers. You will help prepare and produce products, operate kitchen equipment after training, and ensure high hygiene standards in all areas of the shop.

Additionally, you will handle cash and payments when required, manage stock and store items, and support opening/closing duties while maintaining quality and presentation of offerings.

Qualifications

• Prepare ingredients and products per Company recipes, procedures and quality standards.
• Prepare and produce gelato and other food or beverage products as required.
• Operate production equipment and machines after appropriate training.
• Serve customers and provide friendly and professional customer service.
• Handle cashier, POS and payment transactions when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of production, preparation, service and customer areas.
• Clean and sanitise equipment, utensils, work surfaces and other areas as required.
• Receive, store, organise and monitor ingredients, stock and supplies.
• Assist with stock counts and report low stock, damaged goods or wastage.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, storage and handling procedures at all times.
• Assist with the opening and closing of the shop.
• Maintain the quality, consistency and presentation of products.
• Follow Company policies, procedures, recipes and operational standards.
• Work cooperatively with other team members and assist in different areas of the shop when required.
• Handle Company property, equipment, ingredients, products and stock responsibly.
• Perform any other reasonable duties related to the operation of the business as assigned by the supervisor or management from time to time.
