Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Kulim, Malaysia, is seeking a Process Owner for Wetchem to drive KPI-driven process ownership, DoE-based optimization, and CIP initiatives. You will lead process transfers, tool qualifications, and ramp projects while ensuring 5S, cleanroom, and safety compliance.

The role involves creating training materials, improving junior engineer competency, and supporting equipment troubleshooting.

Qualifications

• Process owner to meet KPIs defined in the Wetchem department.
• Advance in process window study using standard tools like DoE approach to optimize process in term of cost, and quality.
• Lead process transfer, process & tool qualification and ramp related projects.
• Lead and drive Continuous Improvement Projects (CIP) interna/externally to meet require speed/cost/quality.
• Ensure the compliance to 5S, Cleanroom & Safety Protocol.
• Implement & setup process FMEA, OCAP, Line of defense, FDC, SPC, Anko system.
• Generate training manual and improve Junior Engineer/ Technician technical competency.
• Support equipment team for equipment troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Own the Wetchem processes and ensure KPIs are met.
• Drive DoE based optimization to balance cost and quality.
• Lead transfer and qualification of processes and tools.
• Execute CIP initiatives to meet speed, cost, and quality goals.
• Maintain 5S, Cleanroom standards and safety compliance.
• Set up FMEA, OCAP, LOD, FDC, SPC, and Anko systems.
• Create training materials to raise junior staff competency.
• Assist equipment team with troubleshooting and escalation.
