Job summary

ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors in Kulim, Malaysia seeks an experienced engineer to own quality, yield and process capability KPIs. You will lead CIP projects and cross-functional teams to improve cost, capacity and device performance across wafer fabrication processes.

Requirements include a Bachelor's in Engineering/Science, 8+ years in front-end wafer fabrication, and fluency in English and Bahasa Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Science required.
• At least 8 years in front-end semiconductor wafer fabrication equipment.
• Experience leading cross-functional teams.
• Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Strong knowledge of process control and quality tools.

Responsibilities

• Own quality, yield, and process capability KPIs.
• Lead CIP projects for cost reduction and capacity.
• Lead process transfer and equipment qualification.
• Create and maintain documentation per safety and quality standards.
• Provide direction for equipment strategy and procurement specs.
• Train engineers and technicians.
• Provide technical leadership to cross-functional teams.
• Coordinate audits with customers and certifying bodies.
