Job summary

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd in Kulim seeks a hands-on maintenance specialist to lead line support for wet bench equipment, perform advanced troubleshooting, and ensure uptime. The ideal candidate holds a bachelor’s degree in electronics/automation and has 5–8 years in wet benches, spray tools and single‑wafer chambers (Veeco, Siconnex, SCREEN) in a semiconductor/foundry setting, with strong safety and 5S practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in electronics, electrical, mechanical, chemical, automation or equivalent.
• 5–8 years hands-on experience in Wet Benches, Spray tools, and single-wafer chamber systems (Veeco, Siconnex, SCREEN).
• Experience in semiconductor/foundry environment.

Responsibilities

• Lead line support for equipment setup, recovery & corrective maintenance to meet KPIs.
• Evaluate and improve maintenance controls and procedures to maximize equipment reliability and lifespan.
• Perform advanced machine troubleshooting with Wet tools; knowledge of Wet Benches, Spray tools, SRD tool is a must.
• Conform to 5S and safety rules; support new tools setup, installation & qualification; maintain spare parts inventory.
• Identify opportunities to reduce costs related to equipment parts, maintenance, and operations; support process team for evaluation & process verification.
• Develop and lead equipment training programs; participate in troubleshooting and quality improvement projects.
