Job summary

Anchor Consulting Sdn. Bhd. seeks a skilled web designer/developer to build and maintain WordPress and WooCommerce websites.

You will design UI/UX, wireframe and prototype components, and document design systems to ensure consistency across projects. In addition, you will implement and support Shopify, EasyStore, and other CMS platforms as required by client projects, while optimizing performance, Core Web Vitals, and front-end code structure.

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of CMS experience (Shopify/EasyStore/Webflow or similar).
• Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Web Development or IT.
• Knowledge of website performance optimisation and SEO fundamentals.
• Experience with API integration and third-party systems.

Job description

Contribute to UI/UX design, wireframing, prototyping, component design and design-system documentation

Build, customise and maintain websites using WordPress including themes, page builders, plugins and front-end integrations

Implement and support Shopify, EasyStore, WooCommerce or other CMS/e-commerce platforms based on project requirements

Optimise website performance, image delivery, front-end loading, code structure and Core Web Vitals where applicable

Apply technical SEO fundamentals, semantic markup, responsive design and accessibility good practices

Collaborate with the design team and internal stakeholders to translate requirements into functional, high-quality WordPress and WooCommerce websites

Review design feasibility, identify technical risks early and recommend practical solutions without compromising user experience

Guide junior designers and developers, review work, establish standards and support capability development within the team

What We’re Looking For

3-4 years of working experience in CMS or other platforms such as Shopify, EasyStore, Webflow or similar platforms

Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Web Development, IT or any related field

Knowledge of website performance optimisation, SEO fundamentals, website seurity, backup and migration processes

Experience with API integration, payment gateway integration or third-party system integrations

Familiar with UI/UX design principles

Knowledge or hands-on experience in web and visual design is an added advantage

Working knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Figma and Canva is preferred
