MYSense Marketing is seeking a detail-oriented Website Developer to join our internal team at our Jaya One, Petaling Jaya location. You will build, maintain, and optimise high-performance WordPress websites that enhance user experience and support business objectives.

You will collaborate with design, marketing, and operations to ensure technical excellence, speed, and reliable hosting, while driving digital performance and client satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of hands-on WordPress development, using Elementor or WPBakery, or custom themes.
• Ability to translate designs into functional, polished websites.
• Experience with WooCommerce.
• Strong UI/UX focus with attention to layout, typography, spacing.
• Effective time management across multiple projects.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain WordPress websites, with Shopify or Wix as occasional platforms.
• Convert designs into responsive, high-quality sites across devices.
• Ensure strong UI/UX, layout, typography, spacing standards.
• Refine and iterate designs based on client feedback and project needs.

Job Description

We are looking for a detail-oriented and innovative Website Developer to join our MYSense internal team. This role offers hands‑on experience in building, maintaining, and optimising high‑performance websites that enhance user experience and support business objectives. You will work closely with our design, marketing, and operations teams to improve website functionality, ensure technical excellence, and drive overall digital performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain websites primarily using WordPress, with occasional work on platforms such as Shopify or Wix
• Convert design concepts into fully responsive, high‑quality websites that function seamlessly across all devices
• Ensure strong UI/UX standards, focusing on layout structure, typography, spacing, and overall visual consistency
• Continuously refine and iterate on website designs and builds based on client feedback and project needs
• Identify and resolve technical issues, including bugs, performance bottlenecks, and hosting‑related problems
• Optimize websites for speed, performance, and reliability
• Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and clear accountability
• Perform routine maintenance, improvements, and updates for active client websites
• Optimize websites for Google Featured Snippets and implement/support Google AMP.

Requirements

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles with a keen eye for detail (layout, color, typography, and spacing are critical)
• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience in WordPress development, including tools like Elementor, WPBakery, or custom theme work
• Proven ability to independently translate designs into functional, polished websites
• Experience working with WooCommerce
• Effective time management skills with the ability to prioritize across multiple projects
• Highly self‑motivated with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
• Have experience in database management, server management and hosting management.
• Ability to optimize websites for speed, mobile responsiveness, and search engine visibility.
• Familiarity with Google Analytics, Search Console, and related platforms.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications (Added Advantage)

• 1–2 years of experience in a similar role within a digital marketing environment
• Basic knowledge of SEO and website performance best practices
• Familiarity with performance testing tools (e.g., GTmetrix, Google Search Console)
• Understanding of front‑end technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Experience with website development frameworks/CMS (e.g., Laravel, OpenCart) is a plus
