Job summary

NIPPON ELECTRIC GLASS (MALAYSIA) SDN BHD is seeking a Plant Maintenance Technician for the IETS/WTP facility. You will operate, monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot the treatment system to ensure smooth process flow.

Role requires 2+ years in water treatment, a related diploma/degree, and shift work capability. CePIETSO certifications are a plus, with attention to environmental regulations and safety.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in water treatment field.
• Diploma or Degree in Chemical or Chemistry or related course.
• Competency certificates CePIETSO-PCP or CePIETSO-BP is an advantage.
• Familiar with Environmental ACT.
• Able to work in shift.
• Knowledge of basic tools, equipment, methods and safe work practices for operation & routine maintenance of treatment system.

Responsibilities

• Operate, monitor, maintain and troubleshoot the IETS/WTP facility and its processes.
• Perform sampling, monitoring, and testing to maintain compliance.
• Communicate with plant engineer regarding treatment process, pump operation and malfunctions; recommend repairs and improvements.
• Comply with related legal requirements.
