Job summary

Walkers Professional Services seeks a highly experienced Senior Vice President to lead a Unit Trust service line across Cayman Islands structures. You will attend board meetings, oversee complex transactions, and ensure governance and regulatory compliance while maintaining key client relationships.

This role combines technical fiduciary expertise with strategic growth, budgeting and team mentoring, including travel to Asia for client development initiatives.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in financial services with fiduciary experience in Cayman Islands trusts.

Duties, Responsibilities & Person Specification

Senior Vice President

Fiduciary – Unit Trusts/Directorships

Salary range US$200,000 – US$275,000

We are seeking a highly experienced and commercially minded Senior Vice President to lead the management of a Unit Trust service line, delivering exceptional governance, client service, and regulatory compliance across Cayman Islands unit trust / fund structures. Acting in a senior fiduciary capacity, you will attend and/or chair board meetings, oversee intricate transaction and incorporation matters, and ensure the effective administration and regulatory compliance of large, high-value client structures while maintaining strong, trusted relationships with key stakeholders.

This role combines technical expertise with strategic leadership and commercial focus. You will play an integral role in driving business growth, supporting client development initiatives, and collaborating with senior leadership to strengthen client relationships and expand the platform. In parallel, you will provide oversight of financial and operational matters, including budgeting, billing, and risk management, while mentoring and developing junior team members. This is a high-impact position suited to a confident leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and consistently delivers high-quality, client-focused outcomes.

This role will involve extensive travel to Asia and implementation of client development initiatives, consistently supporting our client outreach and growth targets.

Education, Skills & Experience

• Minimum 10+ years’ experience in financial services, specifically with at least 4+ years acting in a senior fiduciary capacity for a Cayman Islands trust company acting as trustee to registered unit trusts.
• Deep technical expertise in corporate governance, Cayman regulatory frameworks, unit trusts, fund structuresand strategies
• Proven experience managing large, complex fiduciary portfolios and delivering under tight deadlines
• Strong commercial acumen, including experience supporting business development, budgeting, and revenue growth
• Demonstrated ability to build and maintain senior client relationships and contribute to strategic client development
• Experience reviewing complex transaction documents and financial documentation, including audited financial statements
• Strong leadership capability and demonstrated ability to mentor, develop, and manage junior staff
• Excellent communication, organisational, and stakeholder management skills across multiple jurisdictions
• High attention to detail, with strong analytical and risk identification abilities
• Bachelor’s degree with a strong academic background and/or relevant professional qualifications (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CPA or equivalent) is required.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook; experience with Viewpoint, Oracle, or similar systems advantageous
• Prior direct work experience inthe financial services industrywithin Europe or Asia would be highly advantageous
