IJM Group is seeking an Executive, Traffic to manage ship system data for new vessels, ensure timely receiving of EDI and shipping instructions, and coordinate berth planning and crane sequencing. You will work closely with shipping lines, planning teams, and yard operations to ensure accurate data entry and smooth vessel berthing.

The role requires high attention to detail, ability to coordinate across multiple teams, and familiarity with CTOS/ship systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree required.
• Experience in shipping/logistics preferred.
• Ability to coordinate with multiple stakeholders.

Responsabilités

• Create information structure of every new vessel into the Ship System.
• Receive EDI (baplie) for discharge moves and move [Shipping Instruction] for load moves at least 12 hours before vessel arrives.
• Create vessel visit call in the Ship System.
• Check and verify inbound EDI by downloading into ship system and inform shipping agent of errors.
• Submit inbound EDI to CTOS to update discharge containers with slot positions into CTOS.
• Download discharge information from baplie into ship system [CTOS].
• Verify discrepancies between EDI and discharge list provided by shipping agent.
• Revert to Shipping Line on discharge discrepancies and update CTOS.
• Download loading prestow per stowage instruction into ship system.
• Check with CTOS that discharge/load/restow information is correct and update.
• Check discrepancies between load list and stowage instruction; update pre-stow in ship system.
• Check with Berth Planning/tide table on vessel berthing side.
• Plan crane assignment and sequence for optimum vessel operations.
• Update Berth Planning and Operations on crane split.
• Work with Yard Planning on container stack updates.
• Ensure changes are updated by Yard Planning.
• Ensure cut off times: local containers 10 hours before ETA; others 4 hours before ETA.
• Do final download before preparing loading plan.
• Prepare loading plan (auto or manual).
• Check for shifting or RTG clashes and fine-tune sequence to minimize issues.
• Check stack weight limits.
• Send provisional plan to shipping line/central planner for verification 6 hours before ETA.
• Adjust loading plan as required based on feedback.
• Upload loading sequence to yard system for operations.
• Print discharge/loading plan and sequence for distribution before vessel berth.
• Complete planning processes including distribution at least 2 hours before berthing.
