Job summary

PayNet, Malaysia's national payments infrastructure, is seeking a Vendor Management professional to oversee third-party engagements and ensure compliance with regulatory and governance standards. You will coordinate onboarding, due diligence, and contract renewal while collaborating with Procurement, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Technology teams to deliver reliable services.

Qualifications

• Solid experience in vendor management, procurement, and third‑party governance.
• Knowledge of vendor lifecycle management, onboarding, due diligence, risk classification and performance monitoring.
• Strong contract management fundamentals including obligation tracking and renewal coordination with Legal/Risk/IT.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders with documentation discipline and timely escalation of risks.
• Analytical acumen in spend analysis, cost optimisation, contract savings and vendor value tracking.

Responsibilities

• Manage vendor lifecycle activities: onboarding, due diligence, segmentation, risk classification and renewal support.
• Monitor vendor performance against KPIs, SLAs and contractual obligations with review meetings.
• Maintain vendor master data and contract records with audit trail requirements.
• Review and support negotiation of procurement contracts with Legal and business stakeholders.
• Prepare regular updates on vendor performance, contract status, renewal pipeline and risk exposure.
