AIG Malaysia Insurance Berhad is seeking an experienced Underwriter for Auto & Personal Property in Kuala Lumpur. You will support underwriting, governance and portfolio management while working with stakeholders to implement processes that improve topline and profitability.

The role requires managing referrals, updating guidelines, ensuring regulatory compliance, and contributing to product development and training initiatives. English fluency is essential, with office-based work in Malaysia.

Qualifications

• Five plus years of proven experience in insurance, preferably Auto and Personal Property underwriting.
• Strong relationship management with customers and intermediaries.
• Technical skills in underwriting risks and driving results.
• Excellent written and spoken English communication.

Responsabilités

• Support underwriting governance, portfolio management and performance outcomes.
• Review new and renewal referrals and provide timely approvals or modifications.
• Develop, update and improve underwriting guidelines, policies and procedures.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and internal AIG standards.
• Coordinate with stakeholders and audit findings to implement action plans.
• Assist in product development and underwriting training programs.
