Job summary

AIG Malaysia Insurance Berhad invites experienced underwriters to join our Kuala Lumpur team, focusing on Auto and Personal Property lines. You will contribute to underwriting decisions, pricing, and portfolio management while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a dynamic office environment.

Qualifications

• Three+ years of proven experience in insurance, preferably Auto and Personal Property underwriting.
• Strong relationship management with customers and intermediaries.
• Proven technical underwriting skills and drive for results.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English; another language is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own key underwriting outcomes for Auto and Personal Property in Malaysia.
• Support governance, portfolio management and process improvements across underwriting activities.
• Review new and renewal referrals and provide timely approvals or modifications.
• Assist in developing, updating and enforcing underwriting guidelines and procedures.
• Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Support pricing and portfolio analyses, monitor loss ratios and market trends.
