Managing the company’s liquidity, cash flow, funding, banking relationships, and financial risks.
Ensures sufficient availability and efficient use of cash while maintaining strong treasury controls and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
Oversees cash-flow forecasting, financing arrangements, foreign exchange and interest-rate risk management, treasury operations, and short-term investments.
Works closely with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations to improve working-capital efficiency and cash conversion.
Provides senior management with timely analysis and recommendations on liquidity, funding, financial risks, and banking matters, while supporting the company’s budgeting, financial planning, and strategic initiatives.
1) Cash & Liquidity Management
Monitor daily cash positions and forecast short-, medium-, and long-term liquidity needs.
Ensure sufficient funds are available for operational and financial obligations.
Optimize cash balances and minimize idle cash.
2) Banking & Relationship Management
Manage relationships with banks and other financial institutions.
Negotiate banking services, fees, credit facilities, and financing terms.
Oversee bank accounts, mandates, signatories, and account structures.
3) Cash Flow Forecasting & Reporting
Prepare and maintain cash-flow forecasts.
Provide regular treasury reports and liquidity updates to management.
Manage working-capital facilities, overdrafts, loans, and other financing arrangements.
Monitor debt maturity profiles, interest costs, and covenant compliance.
Evaluate financing alternatives and support refinancing activities.
Identify and monitor exposure to foreign-exchange and interest-rate fluctuations.
Develop and implement appropriate hedging strategies in accordance with company policy.
Monitor derivative transactions where applicable.
6) Payments & Treasury Operations
Oversee treasury-related payments, transfers, and cash settlements.
Ensure appropriate authorization and segregation of duties.
Maintain effective controls over treasury transactions.
7) Investment of Surplus Cash
Manage short-term investments of excess liquidity in accordance with approved policies.
Assess counterparty, liquidity, and market risks.
Establish and maintain treasury policies, procedures, and controls.
Monitor counterparty, liquidity, market, and financial risks.
Support internal and external audits and ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
9) Working Capital Management
Work with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and Operations to improve cash conversion.
Monitor receivables, payables, inventory-related cash requirements, and working-capital efficiency.
10) Management & Strategic Support
Provide senior management with analysis and recommendations regarding liquidity, funding, financial risks, and banking arrangements.
Support budgeting, financial planning, acquisitions, investments, and other strategic projects where treasury expertise is required
