Job summary

NTT DATA seeks a Principal Transformation Consultant to lead private cloud and data centre design, migration and consolidation. You will architect compute, storage, hypervisor, and data protection platforms, and drive engagements from discovery to cutover, aligning with client goals and commercial details.

Qualifications

• Extensive IT consulting experience in enterprise infrastructure.
• Strong document authoring and proposal development skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads technical solutioning for private cloud, compute, storage, and backup opportunities.
• Develops proposal content, solution architectures, and statements of work for RFI/RFP/RFQ responses.
• Produces high-level and low-level designs for virtualization platforms and data protection architectures.
• Leads hypervisor modernization and migration engagements, including VMware-to-alternative migrations.
• Leads data center migration, consolidation, decoupling, and relocation workstreams.
• Leads workload optimization and consolidation, including cost and capacity assessment.
• Designs and implements backup, replication, and recovery solutions aligned to cyber recovery requirements.
• Presents solutions to client stakeholders and supports commercial teams in clarifications and negotiations.
