Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Principal Transformation Consultant (Server, Storage & Virtualisation) to drive private cloud design, migration, and data centre consolidation for clients. You will lead complex solutioning, create architectures, and guide engagements across VMware, Nutanix, Huawei and backup platforms.

The role emphasizes stakeholder communication, technical leadership, and delivery excellence within AIS. Hybrid working and global best practices shape the environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in IT/CS/Engineering or related field.
• 10+ years hands-on server, storage, and virtualization experience (FSI preferred).
• Certifications such as VMware VCP/VCAP, Nutanix NCP/NCM, Huawei HCIP/HCIE are essential or advantageous.
• Backup/storage certifications (Veeam VMCE, Dell/NetApp/Huawei) and TOGAF are beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Leads technical solutioning for private cloud, compute, storage and backup opportunities.
• Develops proposal content, solution architectures, and statements of work for RFI/RFP/RFQ responses.
• Produces designs for virtualization platforms (VMware VCF/vSphere, Nutanix AHV, Huawei DCS) and data protection architectures.
• Leads hypervisor modernization and migration engagements (VMware to alternatives).
• Leads data centre migration, consolidation, decoupling, and relocation workstreams.
• Leads workload optimisation, consolidation, and cloud-to-on-premises repatriation engagements.
