Job summary

NTT DATA is seeking a Principal Transformation Consultant (Server, Storage & Virtualisation) to lead private cloud design and data centre migration efforts. The role focuses on compute, storage, hypervisor platforms, and data protection strategies across large-scale environments.

Senior professional with 10+ years in infrastructure and advisory services, capable of driving proposals, architecture designs, and client engagements with strong communication at IT management and executive levels.

Qualifications

• Hands-on 10+ years in server, storage and virtualization, preferably in a large technology services context.
• Certifications such as VMware VCP/VCAP, Nutanix NCP/NCM, Huawei HCIP/HCIE (Cloud Computing or Storage) are highly desirable.
• Experience in consulting or IT within a large-scale global technology services environment; strong client engagement.
• Excellent communication and ability to present to IT management and C-level audiences; strong documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Leads design and delivery of private cloud and data centre solutions, including hypervisor modernisation and migrations.
• Develops proposal content, solution architectures, and statements of work for RFI/RFP/RFQ responses.
• Produces designs for virtualization platforms and data protection architectures.
• Leads data centre migration, consolidation, and workload optimisation engagements.
• Maintains reference architectures and reusable proposal assets.
