Job summary

NEXT Ventures seeks a senior leader to shape trading operations and risk oversight for a multi-asset futures book. Based in Kuala Lumpur, you will partner with risk, trading, and tech teams to elevate operational resilience and profitability.

You will design risk frameworks, supervise margin controls, and translate complex findings into actionable guidance for executives—driving risk-adjusted performance and strategic decision-making across jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Degree in finance or quantitative field.
• 8+ years in trading, execution, or risk roles.
• Experience with funded-trader or prop firm models.

Responsibilities

• Advise on end-to-end futures trading operations across platforms and asset classes.
• Oversee trader activity and risk patterns to inform policy and design.
• Develop risk scoring frameworks and trader profiles to guide risk decisions.
