Job summary

Tentacle Tech is seeking a System Architect, Front & Back Office to define and deliver end-to-end architecture for capital markets trading platforms serving Bursa Malaysia and global markets. You will ensure OMS, pre-trade risk, FIX connectivity and back-office integrations are scalable, compliant and resilient while guiding transformation in the finance sector.

You will lead architecture efforts across front, middle and back offices, drive low-latency design, data integrity and regulatory

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in trading platform architecture.
• Strong knowledge of Trading OMS, Pre-Trade Risk and end-to-end trading lifecycle.
• Hands-on experience with FIX protocol and connectivity.
• Proven expertise in low-latency, high-availability system design.
• Solid database knowledge and performance optimisation track record.

Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for Trading OMS, Pre-Trade Risk, FIX gateways and downstream integrations.
• Ensure low-latency, high-availability and fault-tolerant system design.
• Lead solution architecture for trading platform transformation and modernisation initiatives.
• Perform architecture assessments and evolution planning across platforms.
• Define integration patterns between front office, middle office, clearing, settlement and reporting systems.
• Safeguard data consistency and operational resilience across the trading lifecycle.
• Ensure compliance with Bursa Malaysia rules and audit requirements.
