Job summary

A leading tech company is seeking a supervisor for the Trade Operations Team at their Kulim location. This role involves overseeing customs operations, ensuring compliance with regulations, and guiding a team in import/export activities. Candidates should have a Bachelor's in a relevant field and 4-6 years of experience in trade compliance. Proficiency in SAP, customs procedures, and leadership skills are essential for success. The role allows for a mix of on-site and remote work, emphasizing collaboration alongside flexibility.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years experience in import/export operations or trade compliance.
• Familiarity with Malaysia Customs procedures, LMW framework, and brokerage coordination.
• Good communication and coordination skills to work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily import operations ensuring compliance with Customs.
• Monitor customs compliance and escalate significant exceptions promptly.
• Review, validate, and submit monthly Customs Reports accurately.

Skills

Experience in manufacturing or high-volume trade environments

Understanding of INCOTERMS and international shipping documentation

Strong leadership and team guidance

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, International Trade, or related discipline
