Job summary

Celestica in Johor Bahru, Malaysia, seeks a senior engineer to design, develop, and implement the complete manufacturing test strategy for new electromechanical products. You will own the test process from design-phase requirements to production-line test hardware, software, and procedures.

The role requires hands-on development of test systems, DFx integration with R&D, and leadership in resolving complex yield issues while guiding technicians and bridging R&D with Manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering with 6–8 years in manufacturing test.
• Experience defining test strategies for new hardware products.
• Strong DFT/DFM knowledge and troubleshooting of electromechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and own the complete manufacturing test strategy.
• Collaborate with R&D to define test coverage and embed DFT/DFM.
• Lead investigations into yield issues and implement corrective actions.
• Train technicians and improve test technologies to reduce costs.
