Job summary

Infineon Technologies Malaysia is seeking a Senior Test Hardware Engineer to design and implement PCB-based test solutions for semiconductor products. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across test, package development, and manufacturing to ensure reliable test interfaces and documentation.

The role requires Cadence Allegro/OrCAD proficiency, AutoCAD for mechanical drawings, strong knowledge of PCB design fundamentals, DFT, and IPC standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering.
• 5+ years in semiconductor test hardware or automated test equipment (ATE).
• Proficiency with Cadence Allegro/OrCAD for PCB design including schematic capture and layout.

Responsibilities

• Analyze product requirements toward functional test solutions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to collect design and manufacturing requirements for seamless integration.
• Design PCB interface solutions using Cadence tools (Allegro/OrCAD) including schematic/layout.
• Create and maintain 2D mechanical drawings using AutoCAD with checks and Infineon standards.
• Integrate test hardware interface requirements into PCB design documentation.
